    This is part 1 of a 2 part Process Improvement/ Quality Management series that will introduce topics and methodologies of Process Improvement. Will be led by Michael Williams, Black Belt Sigma Six , Lean, Design by Six Sigma

    Session II: Process Improvement Workout
    2 pm - 4 pm
    Part 2 of Process Improvement/ Quality Management series allows participants from part 1 to invite colleagues and work on specific projects and start an action plan to resolve issues. Will be led by Michael Williams, Black Belt Sigma Six , Lean, Design by Six Sigma

    Leveraging Leadership for Organizational Excellence
    2 pm -4 pm
    This presentation will provide a glimpse into the operational (people) and strategic (organization) leadership practices we can use to create an environment that is most capable of positive results. Led by Scott Lewis, lead faculty for the Strategic Leadership program at NAU's community campuses.

    Donor Relations Managment
    3 pm - 5 pm
    This course designed for board member, volunteers and agency staff teaches how to build and cultivate long-term donor relations. It provides key strategies for nonprofits to diversify their funding base. Will be led by Rose Vasquez, of Strategic Writing and Consulting, with 25 years of nonprofit leadership and grant writing experience

    Engaging the Major Gift Donors
    3 pm - 4:30 pm
    This course is a culmination of best practices learned for successful major gift adventures. It will provide you fundraising guidance and a road map for getting major gift donations. Will be led by Frank Bourget, CFRE , Executive Director American Red Cross of Northern Arizona

    HR: Employment Laws from Hiring to Firing
    3 pm - 5 pm
    This course is designed for management level individuals in nonprofit agencies. Topics will include employment laws, how to apply them in the workplace, effective resources practices. Will be led by Laura J. Hamblin, JD, SPHR, SHRM-SCP with more than 25 years of experience as an hr executive
